Earth Day Roundup 2010
Earth Day 2010 has come and gone, hopefully with much fanfare and celebration. But, as with many holidays, Earth Day commemorates something much larger than a one-day event. We're told that the spirit of the holidays should stay with us throughout the year. This should be especially true about Earth Day. The spirit of stewardship and care for what sustains us should be one that stays with us beyond April 22nd. In much the same way, what we do to commemorate Earth Day stays with us for countless years to come. Here are some examples of how schools across the country chose to leave their mark on the 40th anniversary of Earth Day.
