The Tecnológico de Monterrey system in México has achieved a major STARS milestone in a single reporting year. The system published 16 STARS reports recently, covering the entire system. In addition to its flagship campus, nearly every satellite campus within Tec de Monterrey is tracking and measuring sustainability performance through STARS under Version 3.0, and has earned a Silver or Gold rating. In 2025, the 16 Tec de Monterrey institutions above officially became AASHE members, providing thousands of students and staff across Mexico access to AASHE member resources, and helping Tec de Monterrey become one of AASHE’s largest system members. We are proud of Tec de Monterrey for its leadership in choosing AASHE and STARS as tools to advance institution-level and system-wide sustainability efforts.
