The AASHE Team has arrived at Powershift 2009! After a 10 hour overnight bus ride from Lexington, Kentucky (a bus full of enthusiastic Transylvania University and University of Kentucky students, load music, and Ale-8) Cara Meyer (AASHE intern who works on STARS), Brittany Zwicker (AASHE intern who works on the ACUPCC), and I (AASHE Bulletin Editor and Publications and Education Coordinator) are in Washington D.C. at conference full of 11,000 youth dedicated to shifting the sources of power to renewable energy.
