    Climate Vault

    Non-Profit

Founded at the University of Chicago, Climate Vault is an award-winning 501c3 that helps higher education institutions reduce and eliminate their carbon footprint.

Because the number of permits is capped, keeping them off the market decreases CO2 emissions and provides a verifiable offset. We then take offsetting one step further by using the permits’ value to support Carbon Dioxide Removal (CDR) technologies vetted by our Tech Chamber, chaired by the former US Secretary of Energy and including academic leaders from MIT, Harvard, Princeton, and more. Scrapp is a green-tech start-up on a mission to make recycling simple. With our free app, we aim to remove the barriers for anyone to make informed disposal decisions and encourage their sustainable habits as a conscious consumer. With a quick scan of a product’s barcode, Scrapp shows the user exactly how to dispose of a product’s packaging correctly – according to their local authority’s recycling rules. By working with consumers to get it right, we can minimise contamination at the source and kickstart a circular economy that begins at the bin. Follow us on Instagram and LinkedIn.

    Climate Vault

    Non-Profit

Founded at the University of Chicago, Climate Vault is an award-winning 501c3 that helps higher education institutions reduce and eliminate their carbon footprint.

We do this by using regulated compliance markets to purchase and “vault” CO2 permits.
