2022 Call for Applications Details
- Board of DirectorsThe purpose of the Board of Directors is to advise, govern, oversee policy and direction, and assist with the general promotion of AASHE. The Board of Directors consists of faculty, students, staff and administrators representing organizational members.
Term: Three years
Open Positions: Three (Two will be member elected and one will be appointed)
Eligibility: Applicants must be employees or students of a current AASHE member organization in good standing. Acceptance of an application does not guarantee the eligibility of a candidate. If at a later point in time, a candidate is found to be ineligible, that candidate will be disqualified.

- Advisory CouncilConsisting of leaders from higher education, business, nonprofits and government, the AC provides advice and guidance to staff on high-level strategy as well as specific programs and services, including STARS technical development.
Term: Two years
Open Positions: Unlimited
Eligibility: Applicants must be employees or students of a current AASHE member organization in good standing or affiliated with a STARS Partner Organization. Acceptance of an application does not guarantee the eligibility of a candidate. If at a later point in time, a candidate is found to be ineligible, that candidate will be disqualified.

- STARS Steering Committee (Applications are currently closed.)The STARS Steering Committee (SC) approves updates and revisions to the technical content of STARS, including each new version, and also advises on program policy, finances, and strategic positioning.
Term: Three years, maximum of two-terms
