Suggest a question for AASHE's Sustainability Staffing Survey

AASHE is planning to update our 2008 Higher Education Sustainability Officer Position and Salary Survey (pdf). Over two years have passed since the data were collected for this report, and the field has grown tremendously since then. We'd like your help in making this next survey as useful as possible. Specifically, we're soliciting suggestions for additional survey questions or improvements to questions we've used before.

We're already planning some changes to this year’s survey. Instead of lumping all sustainability staff together, respondents will be asked to classify themselves according to the type sustainability staff position they hold (e.g. recycling manager, energy manager, green building manager, overall sustainability manager, etc), which will enable us to look at each of these position types individually. We're also planning to add a question on the academic background of sustainability officers and we're considering adding questions about overall job satisfaction and security. Of course, we'll still be collecting the information on salary and reporting lines like in previous years too.
