Call for Articles for AASHE Bulletin: Global Edition
College and university campuses around the world are making strides towards sustainability, the evidence of which was in the first AASHE Bulletin: Global Edition, published in August 2009. Institutions from over 10 countries and 4 continents were represented in the inaugural publication. Campus projects ranged from large scale solar installations in India to a bike share program in Australia; it is clear that sustainability efforts are being pursued seriously around the globe.
Now, AASHE is gearing up to publish the second edition of the semi-annual Global Edition. We invite press releases and news article suggestions to be included in the upcoming issue, which will released in mid-February. Topics will include green buildings, climate and energy initiatives, new educational programs, waste reduction efforts, and more. To submit an item for consideration, email a hyperlink to the news story or press release that is posted online to bulletin@aashe.org with the subject line, "global edition." The deadline for submissions for the second issue is February 1, 2010.
