The use of outdoor spaces can support the safety, well-being and academic success of students and their teachers. AASHE is proud to sign a letter that calls on the U.S. Senate & House of Representatives to give special consideration to the role outdoor spaces can play by considering school ground improvements in short-term funding for schools and in funding support for longer term renovations and new school construction.
