  • Webinars
    Business leader members are eligible to present a 60-minute webinar on a topic of their choosing. Please review the Business Webinar Submission Template before submitting your proposal.  Only proposals sent via the Business Webinar Call for Proposals sent at least two (2) months in advance will be accepted.  

      • Webinar content must be based on a relevant topic, concept, or idea related to sustainability in higher education. We do not allow purely promotional webinars. 
      • AASHE webinars should be original content tailored to the higher education sustainability community.
      • At least one higher education representative presenter must be included in the webinar.
      • Pending availability, the webinar must take place within your membership year.

    Recognition of Webinar Sponsors

    As the Webinar sponsor, you will receive the following acknowledgments:

    • Recognition during the introduction as the “Presenting Sponsor.”
    • Your company logo on the introductory slide.

    Post Webinar 

    The sponsor will receive an aggregated summary of the webinar evaluations.

    • AASHE retains all rights to the webinar recording and its distribution.
    • Per our Privacy Policy, AASHE does not provide attendee lists or contact details. However, you are encouraged to provide information where participants can contact you for follow-up. 
    • You may provide us with a message to include in AASHE’s thank you email to opted-in webinar attendees. The content is subject to AASHE’s approval.
      • Email Details:
        • Members may draft the email content; AASHE reserves the right to edit as needed.
        • The topic should be centered around the webinar topic. 
        • These follow-up emails can be up to 400 words in length. However, we have found that emails under 125 words tend to see the highest conversion rates.
        • Preheaders should be no more than 7 words
        • Subject lines should be no more than 65 characters
        • Include at least one high res (300 dpi) PNG image, max-width of 200 pixels if you want the text to wrap or 1200 pixels if you want the picture to span the width of the email.
        • Include a person to contact should readers have questions.
        • Send your email copy in Google or Word Document to education@aashe.org and CC membership@aashe.org 
        • Email friendly from will read as “AASHE, on behalf of [COMPANY NAME]”

  • Thought Leadership Article
    Business leader members receive a thought leadership article on the blog page within AASHE.org.

    • Members may draft the thought leadership content; AASHE reserves the right to edit as needed
    • Topics must be related to sustainability and the higher education community
    • Recommend blog posts be between 1,000 – 2,000 words
    • Titles should be no more than 65 characters
    • Include at least one high res (300 dpi) PNG image, max-width 400 pixels
    • Include a maximum of three sentences about the author
    • Send blog copy in Google or Word Document to marketing@aashe.org and CC membership@aashe.org 
    • All guest content will include the following disclaimer:
      • The views, opinions and positions expressed by the authors and those providing comments on these blogs are theirs alone, and do not necessarily reflect the views, opinions or positions of the Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education (“AASHE”). 
    • Writing tips:
      • Try to avoid overly technical terms without definitions
      • Avoid infomercials. We welcome posts on how your company solved a problem or notable sustainability projects that will benefit readers but posts on “how to use our product” (or similar) isn’t appropriate.
    • Tips for a Successful Thought Leadership Article
      • Provide original and appealing images
      • Always be sure you have the following:
        • Introduction: Set the stage for your post.
        • Make your points and explain them.
        • Conclusion: Wrap up the article with a call to action. 
      • Link to other relevant content within the article
      • Always include a call to action
      • Create a headline that is enticing and tells the readers what your post is about

  • AASHE Website Listing
    Business Leader members receive a write-up and logo on the Business Partners section of our website.

    • Logo should be a transparent, PNG file that is 150×150 pixels.
    • Description should be no more than 500 characters and include a link to learn more.

  • Customized Program Offering
    Business leader members have an opportunity to work alongside AASHE to develop and implement a special project, program, or initiative. 

  • Direct Email to Members
    Business leader members can send one email per membership year to a subscription list of nearly 30,000 subscribers. 

    • AASHE will send an email on behalf of our Business Leaders.
    • This opportunity is only available once per membership year. If the email is not used within the membership year, the benefit is forfeited.  
    • AASHE will work with the member to determine when the email can be sent. 
    • Members may draft the email content; AASHE reserves the right to edit as needed
    • Topics must be related to sustainability and the higher education community

      • Consider creating a video that can be featured within the email
      • Always include a call to action
      • Create a subject line that is intriguing and exciting

  • AASHE Bulletin
    Business leader members receive one month of Bulletin advertisement for free.

    • Please indicate your interest via the Business Leader Benefit Fulfillment form, where our team will review availability.
    • Free advertisements can run during standard months, including February, March, April, May, June, July, August, and December.
    • A 1200 x 300 pixel PNG file (resized to 480×120 pixels) with a unique destination URL is due on the 21st of the month prior to your desired run date.
