AASHE’s Communities of Practice are networks of higher education sustainability advocates formed around specific topics of interest.
Communities of Practice can take advantage of a range of benefits offered by AASHE, including:
- A community to support information sharing and networking through AASHE Connect, AASHE’s online community platform. These communities are open to anyone with a free AASHE Account.
- Promotion of programs (e.g., conferences, workshops and webinars) via upcoming events emails, AASHE newsletters and/or in AASHE’s calendar
- A dedicated Google Drive folder and/or AASHE Connect library to share resources
- Space to post recordings of meetings/presentations on AASHE’s YouTube account
- Space to host a networking meeting at AASHE’s annual conference
AASHE also supports networks organized around geographic boundaries (Affiliates) and identities (Affinity Groups).
