Save the Date: The AASHE 2015 Conference & Expo will be in Minneapolis, Minnesota on October 25 - 28.

AASHE 2015 Conference & Expo, themed Transforming Sustainability Education, will convene a diverse group of campus representatives including faculty, students, sustainability officers, staff, administrators and presidents together with business, non-profit, government and community members for a sustainable celebration.

Join us and share your sustainability successes and lessons learned by submitting a proposal and help shape the content for this year’s conference. Proposal submissions are being accepted until Monday, February 23, 2015.

Our most recent conference, the AASHE 2014 Conference & Expo in Portland, Oregon, was our second-most attended conference to-date. With approximately 2,100 participants, the 2014 conference was themed Innovation for Sustainable Economies and Communities, and featured keynote speakers Annie Leonard from Greenpeace USA, Marcelo Bonta from the Environmental Professionals of Color and the Center for Diversity & the Environment, as well as Rob Bennett from EcoDistricts.

AASHE conferences have taken place across the nation in Nashville, Tennessee; Los Angeles, California; Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; Denver, Colorado; and Raleigh, North Carolina. Over the years AASHE has brought top national and international sustainability speakers including 350.org founder and author Bill McKibben, Climate Reality Project President/CEO Maggie Fox, urban revitalization strategist and public radio host Majorta Carter, and EARTH University President Dr. Jose Zaglul.
