Scholarship Applications for the AASHE 2026 Conference & Expo are now open!
What the Scholarship Covers
Scholarship recipients will receive up to the cost of a full conference registration. Recipients will be notified on a rolling monthly basis.
Do not register before hearing back about your scholarship – if there has been a registration price increase between when you applied and when you are notified, you will receive a discount code to bring it back down to the original registration price.
Who’s Eligible to Apply?
Any individual is welcome to apply. To increase the diversity of perspectives, we especially welcome applications from people of color and individuals associated with under-resourced institutions. Please use a separate application for each person applying.
Scholarship applications will be evaluated based on the following:
- Involvement with AASHE
- Involvement in higher education sustainability
- Financial Need
Who is NOT Eligible?
The same person may not be awarded a scholarship two years in a row. In addition, attendees, presenters, and students already registered to attend, or those affiliated with Host Institutions are not eligible for scholarships, as their registration fees are already covered under the Host Institution package. Likewise, exhibitors and sponsors are not eligible, as there are registrations included with their packages. Business applicants are unlikely to receive a scholarship, given AASHE’s focus on higher education.
Scholarship Rules
- Do not register for the conference until you have been notified regarding the status of your scholarship application.
- If there has been a registration price increase between when you applied and when you are notified, you will receive a discount code to bring it back down to the original registration price.
- If awarded, the scholarship can only be applied to registration toward the AASHE Conference and Expo. No scholarships will be awarded for travel or other logistical expenses associated with attending the conference.
