Vending Machines
We are presently working on an RFP for purchasing rights at the University which will includes vending machines. Does any one have a sample RFP that includes language that requests the elimination of plastic bottles and that requires the placement of energy efficient vending machines?

The EPA offers some great sample procurement language for Energy Star vending equipment.

Unfortunately, RPN doesn't have any sample RFPs that specifically deal with vending machines. However, there is a purchasing guide that covers the elimination of bottled water and includes several specifications and policies for bottled water alternatives such as bottle-less coolers, drinking fountains, filters, and reusable containers.
This guide is designed specifically for universities. I hope this helps!
