We are in process of planning an event to celebrate the awarding of LEED Gold for our new residence hall.  Currently, the event is a BBQ with a short presentation by the university president.  I was hoping to do something more unique.  Any ideas?  Thanks!

Guided tours are great.  If you can find enough knowledgeable guides, you can offer tours every 20 minutes before and after the ceremony.  I think tours are especially meaningful when they take people "behind the scenes" to things they won't be able to see later (like up on the roof to see the heat recovery wheel, for example.  Or, down into the basement to see the cistern.).

Hope that helps!
