I am currently looking into the effects of the structure of IT organizations on energy management innovation and would appreciate any leads or impressions. For example, how do adoptions of new campus energy management approaches change with a more centralized v. decentralized IT structure?
I would love to hear from folks on other campuses about how new ideas make their way through the IT org, depending on how things are arranged on their campuses!

Hi Sarah,
This is a really good question! A little while back I published an interview with David Steinour the Interim Chief Information Officer at The George Washington University. At the time, GWU had been in the news for numerous IT sustainability initiatives. The interview with Mr. Steinour is here. I would try reaching out to GWU as one place to start.
Best,
Niles
