Does anyone know of any scholarly, academic, or reputable resources on the environmental impacts of events?
I am creating a green events website for an internship and was hoping to have impact information, but I am having difficulty finding articles. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
Hi Jessica,
The UBC Centre for Sport and Sustainability has recently published an LCA of UBC sporting facilities and events which you may find useful. Matt Dolf is the project lead on this and can answer any of your questions!

Jessica,
It is definitely hard to find impact reports on events. However, there are some statistics that schools have reported (such as Portland State University in their Green Event Guide found at: http://ecowiki.pdx.edu/sites/default/files/images/stories/file/green%20g.... In addition, Denver uses case studies in their Green Events Guide found here: http://www.denver.org/pdf/SustainabilityGuide.pdf check out the references section.) Hope that helps!
I think I saw you were at IU. I used to work for IUOS:) Best of luck!
