The retreat will offer professional development and support for staff managing institutional transformation for sustainability in higher education. Attendees will build relationships, develop leadership and change management skills and generate ideas to contribute to the development of the field. The event will provide space for learning tangible skills, sharing best practices, and learning from each other and from those with more experience.
Desired Outcomes
- Address attendees’ specific problem scenarios, work projects, case studies
- Engage in targeted visioning around long-term or frontier issues facing sustainability in higher education
- Identify resources needed to support professionals in this field
- Create space to explore the importance of the sustainability of outdoor space on college and university campuses
- Strengthen connections between sustainability professionals across the nation
- Build foundations for learning and sharing best practices

Anticipated Costs $350 members, $400 non-members includes lodging, food, shuttle and facilitators
