UPDATE as of March 31: In order to protect the health and safety of participants and the general public, and in recognition that restrictions on travel and meetings may well still be in place for when it was to take place, we are postponing or canceling some select workshops. Please visit the workshops page for more specific details.

AASHE is closely monitoring the outbreak of COVID-19. At this time, we continue to plan confidently for all of the AASHE Professional Development Workshops scheduled for June 2020, or the 2020 AASHE Conference and Expo in Milwaukee, scheduled for October 4-7, 2020.

At this time, no federal restrictions are in place to prevent meetings and travel within the United States, and we currently have no plans to postpone or cancel any of the AASHE Professional Development Workshops or the 2020 AASHE Conference and Expo.

This unprecedented situation is changing daily, and we remain watchful but also focused on delivering these important events for the higher education sustainability community.

Mindful of our duty of care, we are monitoring the recommendations of the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in light of the rapidly evolving situation. We also encourage AASHE Conference participants, vendors and staff to consult these sources as you prepare for these events.

We are carefully considering and consulting with experts on what the appropriate sanitary, health and other measures should be and can assure our stakeholders that all proper actions will be in place at the time of these programs and we’ll prepare to make any necessary adjustments to our plans should that become necessary. Your health and safety is our top priority.

Thank you for your continued support of AASHE and patience during this time. If you have any questions, please contact Kimberly Smith, Director of Marketing, Meetings, and Membership at Kimberly.Smith@aashe.org.
