Live Session: Mindfulness for Alleviating Climate Anxiety

April 14, 2021 @ 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm EDT

Free

During the pandemic, many of us working remotely have experienced zoom fatigue, isolation, body aches and general exhaustion. A great way to feel relaxed yet energized is through the practice of mindfulness. Mindfulness helps alleviate anxiety, including climate anxiety, and promotes well-being. In this hands-on experiential session, you will experience a guided mindfulness practice, followed by tips on how to incorporate mindfulness in your daily life as well as small breakout sessions to share experiences and learn from other attendees.

This is a solution based workshop, which provides simple practical tips to incorporating mindfulness in daily life for anyone from a novice to a regular practitioner as well as resources to continue these practices. If you are curious, want to try it or want some more exposure to mindfulness, please join us for this session.
