Webinar: The Intersection of Lab Space Optimization & Reduced Overhead Costs for Research at US Universities
May 6, 2026 @ 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm EDT
FreeWith present uncertainly in US federal funding levels for research in the years to come, this is a time when efforts to be more efficient in science may pique in interest by US research universities. One area where there is often large untapped potential for increased efficiency and cost avoidance is more efficient and optimized use of laboratory space. This presentation will explore the reasons why significant untapped opportunities often exist for increased efficiency in lab space use at US research universities, the extent of overhead cost savings achievable, and resources available to help with efforts for lab space optimization.
