How do we navigate the complex emotions that come with climate change and the state of affairs right now? Join us for a Climate Emotions and Mindfulness session designed for anyone seeking space to pause, process, and move forward.
Whether you are a student or celebrating your 30-year work anniversary, this workshop is for everyone. This interactive session offers a space to explore emotions tied to climate change and broader systemic challenges we face. Through guided reflection, mindfulness, and community support, you’ll use research-backed tools to shift your mind and body and move towards hope. We’ll discuss why this matters to your effectiveness and how doing this session with others can strengthen your team or community.
Climate change is like a chronic disease. This workshop draws on research from chronic disease psychology— treating climate change not as a single crisis to solve, but as an ongoing condition we must learn to navigate while maintaining our wellbeing through our capacity to act. Agency and mindfulness together call for a powerful pathway towards hope.
