Webinar: Building a Sustainability Staff Ambassador Program From Scratch: Yes, you can do it, too!
This presentation is a guide for higher education staff to develop a Sustainability Staff Ambassador program at their college or university. A major hurdle most offices of sustainability face is limited staff time and resources. We can’t be everywhere at once, as much as we need and want to be for this work. Through thoughtful relationship building and information sharing, sustainability staff can build a vast network of allies across their campus community, develop leads for sustainability policy and behavior intervention opportunities, share essential information more effectively, and drive staff engagement that will help you achieve your goals.
The webinar will disclose organizing principles and methods for identifying and recruiting staff volunteers for your program. You will learn how to engage with Ambassadors to inspire sustainability action within departmental structures, and how to utilize your volunteer team to increase visibility of sustainability work on your campus.
