Academia’s Role in Advancing Conservation and Biodiversity to Address Climate Change & Human Health

November 1, 2021 @ 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm EDT

In this webinar, presenters will introduce the 30×30 initiative and its connection and importance to climate, environmental justice and human health and make the case for why and how academia should expand their current sustainability goals to include biodiversity goals. We call on institutions to pivot to an outward stance to engage in their communities, regions and nationally to be involved in land stewardship and conservation as natural climate solutions. We will articulate the importance of academia advancing biodiversity and land conservation together with their other sustainability goals.

*Note: The previous title for this webinar was “Managing Organizational Change for Transformational, Deep Decarbonization Initiatives on Campus”. If you registered for the webinar, it is the SAME webinar as this one, just with a title change.
