This introductory-level workshop will provide an overview of STARS and how it can be used to advance sustainability at your institution. You will sail away with an understanding of the framework, the reporting process from start to finish, and know where to find resources available to help you complete the journey and earn a rating. The workshop will focus on STARS Version 3, including how institutions can seamlessly transition from 3.0 to 3.1, slated for release later this year.
This workshop is ideal for anyone that is new to STARS, thinking about using STARS, or is looking for a refresher on getting started, setting up data collection, and analyzing data.

This 2-day, virtual workshop will take place on Monday, May 18 and Thursday, May 21 from 2-4:30 p.m. ET.
This intermediate-to-advanced level STARS workshop offers strategies and tools to develop and hone literacy around STARS version 3.0, with the ultimate goal of helping institutions efficiently submit, review and publish high-quality and accurate reports.
This workshop will cover the principles of STARS data quality, the review and revision process, differences under version 3.0, important deadlines, and integral data quality resources. It will address common issues that apply to all credits and will include a deeper dive into challenging credits. Attendees will learn from example responses from Version 3.0 reporting institutions, and will learn about strategies for effective report reviews.

By sharing knowledge, cooperating on projects and fostering meaningful relationships, partners in the Mentorship Program help advance the field of higher education sustainability.
As the campus sustainability movement has evolved, a wide variety of networks of campus sustainability advocates have emerged. These networks, which are often formed along state, provincial and/or regional lines, share many goals with AASHE. For this reason, we have formalized a collaborative relationship with many of these networks through our Affiliates Program.
AASHE has partnered with 13 Centers for Sustainability Across the Curriculum on a pilot basis to offer workshops and other professional development opportunities on sustainability in the curriculum in an effort to increase the accessibility and diversity of sustainability-oriented training for faculty.
