Join the higher education sustainability transformation!

AASHE’s professional development line-up of conferences, workshops and webinars is designed to empower higher education to model and advance sustainability in everything they do, from governance and operations to education and research.
We aim to engage a diverse group of campus representatives—from faculty to sustainability officers, presidents to students—in dialogue and action focused on pressing issues including curriculum transformation, social justice, climate action and behavior change (just to name a few!)
Join us in leading the conversation about creating a healthy, just and sustainable future.
ANNUAL CONFERENCE
AASHE's annual conferences gather about 2,000 attendees from around the world to share innovations, activities, frameworks, learning outcomes, tools, strategies, research, theory and leadership initiatives that are changing the face of sustainability in higher education. With trailblazing keynote speakers, workshops, sustainability tours, student summits, awards and networking opportunities, AASHE conferences represent and inform the full spectrum of current sustainability challenges and best practices in higher education each year.
Join us in Nashville October 6-9 for AASHE 2013: Resiliency & Adaptation. Visit the AASHE 2013 Conference website for more information and to register.
AASHE WORKSHOPS
You spoke and we listened. A 2012 AASHE survey of sustainability staff, faculty, provosts and deans revealed a need for more professional development in the areas of climate action planning and adaptation strategies; managing and motivating people; and reframing curriculum for sustainability. A total of nine regional workshops this year will explore these areas and more.
Visit the AASHE Workshops page for more information.
AASHE WEBINARS
Instead of the monthly STARS webinars of the past, AASHE 2013 Webinars are exploring pressing issues in higher education sustainability by popular demand.
Visit the AASHE Webinars page for more information.
