Margo is AASHE’s Publications Coordinator. She has an M.S. in environmental studies from the University of Montana with a focus on environmental writing and sustainable agriculture. While in graduate school, she served as nonfiction editor for the student-run environmental literary magazine, Camas, and wrote articles for the Outdoor Writers Association of America and the local food and farming champion, Edible Missoula. Prior to graduate school, Margo received a B.A. in print journalism from California State University, Sacramento, and worked as a columnist for Billboard Magazine. She has also served as an AmeriCorps volunteer in Washington and worked in the admissions department for the University of California, Berkeley. When she’s not working, Margo likes to explore hiking trails and work on her sewing skills.
