DESCRIPTION:The upcoming Safe and Sustainable Foodware: A Summit for the Great Lakes Region\, takes place on Wednesday\, June 4\, at the University of Illinois Chicago Student Center East. This project encompasses Michigan\, Indiana\, and northern Illinois. \nHosted by UIC and Michigan Sustainable Business Forum\, an AASHE Affiliate\, and supported by the EPA\, this one-day workshop will bring together university and other constituents from across the Great Lakes region to advance the adoption of certified-compostable and reusable foodware in institutional food service\, such as on higher education campuses\, and in restaurants. \nJoin with free registration.
