Jillian Buckholz is the STARS Program Coordinator for AASHE. Prior to AASHE, Jillian was the first sustainability coordinator in the California State University system at CSU, Chico. In this position she managed sustainability efforts across the campus; developed a campus-wide sustainability assessment; piloted the AASHE STARS campus sustainability rating program; and co-created SCOOP, an award winning on-campus office sustainability assessment tool. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Geography from Ohio University and a master’s degree in Geography and Planning from CSU, Chico. When not working on STARS Jillian spends her time enjoying the wonders of upstate New York.
