Expected to draw over 2,000 participants, AASHE’s annual conference is the largest stage to share effective models, policies, research, collaborations and transformative actions which advance sustainability in higher education and surrounding communities.
Welcome AASHE members! This webinar will highlight the benefits associated with AASHE membership, and explain how to best take advantage of them. The live presentation will allow for questions and answers from attendees. While new and recently renewed institutions and organizations may find the webinar most helpful, all current AASHE members are welcome to attend.
The conference, which is entitled “Managing and Financing Responsible Businesses”, will host papers on sustainability with major contributions to complementary disciplines such as finance, accounting, management, strategy and development economics.
The 4th World Symposium on Sustainable Development at Universities (WSSD-U-2018) will focus on Universities as Living Labs for Sustainable Development: Supporting the Implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals.
The University of Vermont’s Continuing and Distance Education program is offering a five-day on-campus Campus Sustainability Leadership course focusing on change through transformative and financially sustainable initiatives to help campuses become sustainability models. Participants will have the opportunity to expand their professional network and learn from leaders in the field.
Details about the conference are forthcoming. The 12th annual ISCN 2018 conference will be hosted by KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, Sweden.
This year’s consortium will focus on the topic of effective collaborations (within campuses, between campuses, and between campuses and communities). Events will include guest speakers, panel discussions and group workshops.
The Canadian College and University Environmental Network (CCUEN) and Canadian Alliance of College and University Sustainability Professionals (CUSP) are co-organizing Canada’s first comprehensive sustainability in higher education conference. Keynote speaker is Amy Luers, executive director of Future Earth. The program includes sessions on living labs, research, operations, curriculum, social justice, and partnerships.
This certificate program will provide an overview of the SDGs and the context in which they were negotiated. Participants in this program will review the general merits of the SDGs, examine the means for integrating them into organizational plans and programming, and evaluate progress towards achieving results in implementing the SDGs.
