The University of Manitoba promotes sustainability on campus. Sustainable campus transportation improvements were considered through case study analysis and interpretation of potential implementation for the University. Possible solutions to pressing campus transportation problems have been identified and alternatives have been presented. The main focus areas established include fleet vehicle management, introducing a campus car share, integrating a universal bus pass program and promoting cycling on campus. For each of the possible campus improvements a high, mid and low cost solution has been offered.

This paper was presented to the Vice-President of Administration at the University of Manitoba in order to assist with a decision making process for implementing a sustainable plan for transportation demand management on campus as enrollment increases.
