Student Sustainability Leadership Award
This award honors an undergraduate student from an AASHE member institution who has demonstrated outstanding leadership in promoting campus sustainability.
Congratulations to 2009 Award Winner Missy! Orr of DePauw University and special recognition leader Casey Roe of American University.
The Student Sustainability Leadership Award includes a $750 prize. In addition, the winner of this year's award will be featured in Sustainability: The Journal of Record. The award was presented at the Greening of the Campus VIII Conference (Sept. 20-23 in Indianapolis, IN).
Eligibility: Any undergraduate student enrolled at an AASHE member institution who has played a leadership role in implementing campus sustainability is eligible for this award. Students graduating in Spring 2009 are eligible.
Application Process
We are no longer accepting applications for the 2009 awards program. The application forms for the 2010 awards will be posted in the spring of 2010. If you have any questions, please contact awards@aashe.org.
