AASHE 2008 is selling out!
If you haven't registered already, you may want to act quickly! When we moved AASHE's biennial gathering to a major conference center this year, we thought we were being ambitious reserving space for 1,500 people (last conference 600 attended). As it turns out, the excitement and demand for the conference has exceeded our most ambitious expectations. That's a great sign for the vitality of the campus sustainability movement!
Unfortunately, the record number of registrations means we won't be able to accomodate everyone that wants to attend. While conference registrations are selling out, you can still use our online registration tool to buy Expo passes, sign up for Pre-Conference workshops, register for the NCSU Campus Tour, or purchase individual tickets to Lester Brown's Sunday night keynote. Note: Lester Brown's talk is already included in full conference registrations. As of 1pm on Friday, October 17th these are the remaining full conference registration slots:
38 - AASHE Member
17 - Non-member
Sold out - Student AASHE Member
Sold out - Student Non-member
(Note: In case anyone is wondering, the capacity limits had to be set for each registrant type due to the requirements of our registration system.)
