Academic Programs in Sustainability

We are busy working on the AASHE Resource Center with many new resources and different types in the works for 2008 (including podcasts, an interview series,  and many others).

I wanted to let the community know about a few new academic resources that have been going up recently. Our "Academic Programs in Sustainability" page is growing with new discipline specific resources for Agriculture, Architecture, Development Studies, Urban Studies, Business, and Education.

We are working on getting all of the discipline specific resources complete by the beginning of March and would love to have input from the community on degree programs that you may know of that would fit into one of these discipline specific categories.

Thank you for organizing a list of Academic Programs in Sustainability. Antioch University New

Antioch University New England is graduate institution with several offerings in the realm of sustainabiltiy (not to mention social justice). The Environmental Studies department has been a pioneer in this field since the 70's, and continues to be one at the forefront of sustainability and environmental programs at this level. Within the department are six disciplines, each of which offer a Master of Science: Environmental Education Science Teacher Certification Environmental Advocacy and Organizing Resource Management and Conservation Conservation Biology Individualized (self-designed program) Antioch also offers a PhD in Environmental Studies. Last summer, Antioch launched the Green MBA program, housed within the Organization and Management department. During that same time, the Education department began offering a concentration in Education for Sustainability (an MEd).
