• Event Discounts - members receive discounts on AASHE's annual conference, workshops, and other AASHE-sponsored events throughout the year.

• Program Discounts - members pay a discounted registration fee for STARS (Sustainability Tracking, Assessment & Rating System), a nationally recognized, standarized self-assessment tool for campuses to benchmark and track their sustainability progress over time and compare with other institutions..
   
• Access to Member-only Resources - AASHE's Resource Center is a rich and comprehensive clearinghouse for campus sustainability information. It contains example policies and plans incorporating sustainability; assessment tools, surveys and reports; publications and how-to guides; job descriptions for campus sustainability staff, sustainability profiles of campuses, extensive publications and databases, and many other resources.  Most of these resources are member-only, including an online directory of campus sustainability staff.

• Open Space Conference Calls -  take advantage of AASHE's free Open Space Conference Call Line to host discussions on topics related to campus sustainability.  Any campus member may organize a conference call and AASHE will promote it to the designated audience. Topics range from climate action to system office issues. The Conference Call Archive contains recorded calls.
   
• Free Consultation - individual phone or email consultations are offered to members.
   
• Governance Opportunities - Members may participate in AASHE governance, committees, and working groups.

• Newsletters - AASHE Bulletin is the premier e-newsletter on sustainability in higher education in North America. Published weekly, it contains the latest news, resources, opportunities, and events related to campus sustainability.  In addition, AASHE members are automatically subscribed to AASHE Announcements for key updates on AASHE programs and operations.  Members may also wish to subscribe to STARS Update.
