Program Highlights

Sustainability Tracking, Assessment & Rating System (STARS)
A collaborative effort to develop a formal rating system for campus sustainability, with standards by which institutions may measure themselves and qualify for different levels of recognition.

American College & University Presidents Climate Commitment (ACUPCC)
An initiative addressing global warming by garnering institutional commitments to neutralize greenhouse gas emissions and accelerate the research and educational needed to stabilize the earth’s climate.

Greening of the Campus VIII: "Embracing Change"
AASHE's 2009 conference in Indianapolis, Sept 20-23, in partnership with Ball State University.  Keynotes include Ray Anderson, Francis Moore Lappe, and Geoffrey Chase.  Special features include a Green Campus Expo, special workshops and tours, AASHE Awards ceremony, and an evening reception with I2SL's Labs 21 conference, held in the same venue.  Register now for the early-bird discount!
