AASHE is Hiring:IT InternAASHE is looking for an IT intern who will help with the development of data-intensive and user-friendly web applications that help colleges and universities share information and measure their progress toward meeting sustainability goals We are looking for candidates who have experience developing web applications in a LAMP environment. Candidates should enjoy coding and problem solving. Teamwork will be important, but candidates should also be self-motivated and capable of meeting deadlines and deliverables without a great deal of supervision. Candidates should have good organizing, document preparation, and presentation skills. Desired Skills and Qualifications Candidates should have at least one year of experience programming in PHP and should be enrolled in a degree program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Sciences or similar curriculum with software development emphasis. Some combination of the following is preferred.
Location Interns should be prepared to work remotely from a home office or from our central office in Lexington, Kentucky. Compensation $10-15/hour, depending on experience.
