"I worry that too many endeavors may stall out because we spend too much time lamenting what we do not have. I worry that too many great ideas are going to get stuck in quagmire of debate about whether or not we need legislative mandates. I challenge all of you to look instead at what you do have. How can you use the parameters and powers that you have right now to make the change that you want to see? "

Whether or not you agree with him politically, I think President Bill Clinton was one of the best public speakers of our time. Yet it is one simple action and one pen stroke that I will always remember him for, more than every speech he has ever made.
