This post is related to STARS, AASHE's Sustainability Tracking, Assessment & Rating System.

Does ER Credit 5 (sustainability course identification) apply to both graduate and undergraduate courses, or just undergraduate?

Also, how are others defining what a "course" is? Most schools offer some special courses (like field classes) or research courses that aren't taught in a formal setting. Where are others drawing the line for what a "course" is?

How about lumping all such special programs "education programs" or "related education study programs", provided there is some rigor in evaluating the learning outcomes of the students?

In response to the question regarding credit ER 5, if the institution which has registered for STARS offers both undergraduate and graduate courses, then the credit does apply to both undergraduate and graduate courses.

I hope that folks from other institutions will reply to your question regarding how they are defining sustainablity in the curriculum.

Thanks for posting your questions.
