I would appreciate any and all help with an assignment to identify the current activity and forecast 2013 / 2015 activity on campus and curriculum related to sustainability.
This is not only how many campuses have or are planning sustainability initiatives, but also how many schools currently offer and plan to offer courses with significant sustainability content in their courses. The recent growth in the 'Green MBA ' is an example is an example of such a course. Our initial research is current hovering around 5000 schools and 5000 courses (including online) but data sources are proving difficult .
Who has data they can share? Or estimates they have made?
Also what is the current rate of change for sustainability initiatives in NA schools, I remember reading what was 40% is now approaching 60% and may exceed 85%? by 2015
We are observing significant activity but its difficult to qualify - what are you observing and what suggestions can you offer?
Having been adopted a s a teaching aid to sustainability curriculum and also a software LCA tool to measure effectiveness our Mission here at Sustainable Minds is to operationalize sustainable design and thinking, we are curious how big the NA education market is and has potential to be.
Thanks for any and all help.
