Survey Gizmo
To spur some conversation, i'll give the first reply to my own thread.
One of the most impressive web services that is FREE for student organizations is called SurveyGizmo. If you are a student working on a thesis or working in a student organization, you can get the enterprise level for free (which many businesses pay $159 per month for). To get this service for free you can NOT be a for profit company.
The great thing about SurveyGizmo is that you can create very professional surveys, tests, forms, and more. All of these forms and surveys can be embedded in your website with simple HTML code. If you don't want to embed any of the surveys in an existing website, you can direct people to fill out surveys on the SurveyGizmo website. I have used this for membership application forms or surveys and it works perfectly. Quite frankly, SurveyGizmo is 100% better than Survey Monkey, which is what many student organizations currently use to collect information online. One key difference between Survey Money and SurveyGizmo is that with Survey Gizmo you can ask unlimited questions in a survey and all of the respondents information can easily be converted into a very smooth PDF file.
The only hitch: (not much of a hitch) To get the executive level account you have to become a friend of SurveyGizmo on facebook. Speaking of which, facebook or Twitter would be a great way to advertise any surveys you take on campus. So become a friend of survey gizmo and contact the friendly people at SurveyGizmo.
