Hello:
I'm wondering if anyone out there has experience selecting a ride share/carpool service for their campus. Who did you choose? What made you pick it? There are a few options out there, with varying services and price structures. Some we've seen:
Thanks in advance for any insights or advice!

Hello,
The Climate Protection Campaign is launching a Real-Time Rideshare program in February. The person in charge of the project is Lisa Murgatroyd, who can be reached at lisa@climateprotection.org. She can send you more details if you want to get on board with it. It sounds like an excellent idea that is cost-effective, safe, and of course, sustainable!

Hi Daniel, A Buyer in Procurement & Business Contracts at the University of California, Santa Cruz, I worked with Senior Transportation Planner, Teresa Buika in our Transportation & Parking Services (TAPS) department to bid out for carshare services in 2007. We are contracting with Zipcar. The service has grown substantially since 2007. Following is the URL to the campus webpage explaining the Zipcar car sharing program: http://www2.ucsc.edu/taps/carshare.html. Teresa is the campus guru (she also worked closely with the City of Santa Cruz to bring Zipcar to the community of Santa Cruz) for this service...also a very sustainable-minded person. She can be reached at 831-502-7941 or tabuika@ucsc.edu. Following is a URL to a recent article about our carshare program: http://news.ucsc.edu/2011/04/more-zipcars.html. Hope this helps. N Nieblas
