Recycling and offsets (ACUPCC)

If a campus has a high rate of recycling, say 80-85% are there any carbon offsets available for that effort?

Hi Art,
A high rate of recycling will impact your Solid Waste data and thus reduce your Scope 3 emissions. If you are looking to neutralize your remaining Solid Waste emissions there are a variety of offset companies and projects that you can look into. The ACUPCC Voluntary Carbon Offset Protocol should provide some guidance.
