Hi all,

I'm wondering whether any of you have experience with pilot efforts to precertify or campus-certify certain LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design, the green rating system from the US Green Building Council - http://www.usgbc.org/DisplayPage.aspx?CMSPageID=1970) credits, as a way to streamline your unviersity's green building processes and allow more focus on the contextual, creative or innovative aspects of the building design and construction process.

I think there was someone discussing this in terms of "LEED Prototype Credits" at the last AASHE conference.

Any resources, experiences, links, etc. would be welcome.

Thanks,

Hi Jeremy,

USGBC is currently working with GBCI to  update  the LEED NC Application Guide to Multiple Buildings and On-Campus Building Projects, http://www.usgbc.org/DisplayPage.aspx?CMSPageID=2083, which allows for campuses to identify credits to "prototype".  For those campuses interested in establishting campus credits (ie prototype credits), please feel free to contact me direclty.
