This post is related to STARS, AASHE's Sustainability Tracking, Assessment & Rating System.
As a small college without much history of sustainability related data collection we have found ourselves without baselines especially in waste for any sort of reduction. We are wondering if other small colleges have had similar problems of having no way to collect waste weight data and how they have overcome those challenges.
Thanks for any suggestions you may have!

Hello Sarah,
Have you utilized the STARS Data Displays to identify small colleges that are having difficulty in the Waste sub-category of STARS? The Data Displays may help you tease out a few institutions. Once you have identified these institutions you can reach out to their STARS Liaisons for more information.
Simply click on the "STARS Institutions" link in the toolbar at the top of the STARS website (<stars.aashe.org>). From here choose the "Score Display" tab and you can then filter by FTE enrollment. Please note, the Score Display is only accessible by STARS Participant institutions. The Category and Content Displays are accessible by STARS Participants and AASHE member institutions.
If you still need help after taking a look at the STARS Data Displays, please don't hesitate to contact the STARS staff by emailing stars@aashe.org.
I hope you find what you are looking for!
