Hi All,

We're reviewing energy cost and consumption data in our new, LEED-Silver certified residence hall and finding quite low numbers. Do you have similar energy consumption in your building?

The building is a 54,000 square foot residence hall that opened in January 2009. It uses ground source heat pumps for cooling and heating the building (the heat pumps also heat the hot water). We're located in New Jersey.

Natural gas: 1,100 BTU/sq ft
Electric: 0.95 kWh/sq ft

Much appreciated!

Tina

Hi All;

Working on a student housing project at the University of Washington and doing some benchmarking.  Trying to find Energy Use Intensity comparisons around the country, especially on the west coast.  Any information of direction on this?
