Good morning. I'm looking for examples of campus-community renewable energy partnerships. Specifically, a co-op model in which local government and community are more than members, but are founding/organizing partners, or other models for sharing responsbility/costs for renewable energy projects. Thanks for any leads, Jodie

Hi Jodie,

I searched around and came up with a few stories that may help point you in the right direction:

Includes mention of Texas Tech partnering with Pantex and govt agencies to develop the largest collaborative research wind farm.

California State Univ, state of CA and SunEdison solar power project

You can find several more stories by looking through the 2008 Digest http://www.aashe.org/publications/digest.php and the AASHE Bulletin archives http://www.aashe.org/resources/bulletin-archives.php

Thanks,
