Incentives for Renewable Energies

Congratulations! The renewable energies production credits were extended and expanded!  Thanks to all who supported these changes.

At the end of this year, the tax credits for renewable energies are set to expire. Even with the tax credits, the incentives for renewable energies are much smaller than the subsidies available for fossil fuels. For background, please see the following letter from the governors' association in support of the extension of these tax credits.
