Frequently Asked Questions
  • I would like to submit a proposal or volunteer as a reviewer, how do I create an account?

    1. Visit AASHE’s Session Management Site and click the link to create an account! (Please note, this profile is different from your AASHE account.)
    2. Provide the following information: First Name, Last Name, Affiliation, Primary Email
    3. You will receive a confirmation email which includes your username and an auto-generated password. You have the option to change the auto-generated password by clicking on the provided link.
    4. Use the provided username and password to login.
    5. Confirm the username sent to you in the first email and set your password. Please note, passwords are case sensitive and must be between 6-15 characters long and contain at least 1 uppercase letter, 1 lowercase letter and 1 number.
    6. Navigate to the Dashboard to create a new proposal or submit the volunteer reviewer signup form.

  • I forgot my username and/or password. What do I do?

    1. Click here to provide your First Name, Last Name and the Primary Email you used to create your profile.
    2. You will receive an email which includes your username and a link to reset your password if you do not remember it. Make sure the Primary Email you provide is correct.
    3. Click on the provided link. Another email will be generated with a second Change Password link. Please note, this second link is only valid for 90 minutes
    4. Confirm the username sent to you in the first email and set your password. Please note, passwords are case sensitive and must be between 6-15 characters long and contain at least 1 uppercase letter, 1 lowercase letter and 1 number.

  • I would like to create a new account, but my email address is already in use!
    Follow the instructions for “I forgot my username and/or password” (see above), and you will receive your account information via email.
  • How do I update my personal information?
    When you create a new account you will be asked to first complete your profile. If your information changes, you can edit it at any time by logging into your account and clicking the “Edit Profile” button in the Dashboard.
  • How do I add or edit my biography and head shot?
    You can edit your bio and/or photo at any time by clicking the “Add/Edit Bio” button from the Dashboard in the Session Management Site. NOTE: Bios cannot exceed 1500 characters.
  • How do I save a PDF version of my proposal for record keeping?

    1. You can preview the proposal you are creating by clicking on the “Preview” step.
    2. Select print PDF in the pop-up window and then save to your computer.
    3. Alternatively, after you submit the proposal, go to “My Proposals” and click on View/Print for the proposal you would like to save.
