Student Sustainability Achievement Award

Description: This award continues the Evan Williams Student Achievement Award given annually by the former Education for Sustainability Western Network (EFS West). It honors an undergraduate student from an AASHE member institution who has demonstrated outstanding leadership in promoting campus sustainability. The Student Sustainability Achievement Award includes $750 in cash as well as free registration for the conference.

Eligibility: Any undergraduate student enrolled at an AASHE member institution who has played a leadership role in implementing campus sustainability is eligible for this award.

Application Procedure: Complete an application form and submit it electronically as a Word document. In addition, please have someone who can comment knowledgeably on your work for campus sustainability submit a letter of recommendation. The letter should describe the nature of your relationship and why you are a strong candidate for the Student Sustainability Achievement Award. Your application and the letter of recommendation must be emailed to awards@aashe.org by August 18, 2006. The letter of recommendation should be emailed directly from the recommender.
