In recognition of Campus Sustainability Day on Wednesday, Oct. 24, President Mary Ellen Mazey will sign BGSU on to the American College & University Presidents’ Climate Commitment! The official signing will take place at 11:00 am in the Bowen-Thompson Student Union Dimling Lounge (Room 317). The ceremony is open for anyone to attend.

In addition, students can celebrate Campus Sustainability Day by bringing in 5 cans or plastic bottles to recycle at the reStore and get a free t-shirt of their choice any time throughout the day!

Students can also volunteer for Green Tailgating on the Saturday, October 27 home football game against Eastern Michigan. Green Tailgating aims to reduce waste by encouraging recycling during tailgating and the game itself.
